Welcome To Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church And Preschool!

We will be hosting our annual German Christmas Candlelight Service on Sunday, December 14, at 4 PM. Pastor James Dannell of Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN will once again be our guest preacher as we conduct this special service all in the German language! Following the service, there will be plenty of kuchen (cake) in the Fellowship Hall. Please share this special worship opportunity with any of your German-speaking friends, as they will surely be glad to participate in this special Weinachtsgottesdient! (Christmas Service)

We will have a Candlelight Christmas Eve service at 5 PM. We will sing many of our favorite Christmas hymns and read the Gospel of Luke which gives us the details of the night of Jesus’ birth. At the end of the service, we join in singing “Silent Night” with our candles lighting the sanctuary

 Christmas Day service will focus on the message of the Incarnation (God becoming flesh and blood) as the Bible lessons and songs will focus on the birth of our Savior. Worship will be at 10 AM. Join in bringing your praise to Christ the newborn King!!

There will be a New Year’s Eve service of Word and Song on December 31, at 6 PM. There will be Scripture readings, prayer, and the Lord’s Supper in this simplified service. It is based on the historic Christian tradition of an evening service, called Vespers. The word comes from the Latin word vesper, which means “evening.”
